Trump: Several Countries to Send Warships to the Strait of Hormuz

Donald Trump announced that several countries will send warships to the Strait of Hormuz to support operations led by the United States Navy aimed at keeping maritime traffic open in the region.

Trump stated that multiple nations will participate in the US-led activities with their naval forces and claimed that Iran’s military capabilities have been completely neutralized.

Meanwhile, France and the United Kingdom also announced that they would deploy naval assets to the region. However, neither country has officially confirmed that the deployments are part of a mission specifically intended to keep the Strait of Hormuz open.

A significant portion of the world’s global energy shipments passes through the Strait of Hormuz, and the increasing military presence in the region is being closely monitored due to its potential impact on international maritime trade.
